Last year I acquired a box of rusty triangular steel plates, about 3mm thick and a bit bigger than a large cornflake packet and was thinking of welding them together and mounting them on some form of bearing pedestal to make twirly things for the garden.
Would they need to be shaped in any way to catch the wind, or will flat suffice?
