Will this grease be white?

I get confused with greases - i just want a multipurouse that i can inject, in excess, into some recirculating ball screws / linear slides.

I only want cheap stuff, as im more interested in applying it often, to flush off swarf, than buying some fancy stuff that ill be too cheap to waste.


Besides, the loading is minimal.

I just want bog standard (if such a thing exists) grease really, but im concerned that "lithium" means white (which i dont want, as it seems way more bother to get off stuff)

I would expect that to be bog standard yellow sticky & slippery stuff.
Have not use that particular product though.

i think that will be gold, like castrol LM grease.
the wheel bearing comment suggests that - the white lithium grease for door hinges etc that you are thinking of is not suitable for wheel bearings

Glad some of us are awake tonight.
Didn't event think to look for a data sheet on the TS Site, last time i asked in store for a coshh sheet they looked at me as if i had just asked the question in Chinese or Latin.

The only reason I thought of it was because I happened to be looking at a coshh sheet this morning for some degreaser and I noticed it had physical properties on it, purely good timing!!

I thought that the coshh would just tell you how likley you would be to die in 50 yrs... ; )
