Hi guys hope I don't sound dim but I found this site a few weeks back and after having a good read I see a lot of you recommend fitting metal welding wire liners to SIP 130s,
I run a SIP130 gas only mig, and after reading about metal liners I thought I will fit one, so yesterday I stripped my torch and also the other end of the torch lead to see what I would need and what size the liner was, but after having a good look at the end at the welder I see that the main power lead to the torch is clamped to the round brass thing sorry I don't know its name but its the brass thing at the welder end were the wire feeds in,
Anyway with the main power lead being bolted to this would not fitting a metal wire liner cause a direct short with the power going right to the wire at the welder end rather than the torch end,
Hope I am making sense I am probably not.
Nick.
