Please don’t be too hard on me now, but I’m on my hols is Cyprus. Me and the Mrs decided it was time to brave the 4 hour flight in a tin can with 120 odd strangers once agin.
Anyway, the aparthotel we’re in (for the 8th time at least) has never had a decent WiFi. Happily, 2 weeks ago Stavros had a new router and external aerial fitted. So now, there is a new password, which works inside the building. Outside, by the pool area, where the “aerial thing” - can a plastic vertical dome shape be called an antenna? Is, the signal to the WiFi is strong - full bars. Until you click on it then it reverts to the weaker, looks like the inside signal. I just followed that signal and here I am inside, full bars. Trying to log on to the same named WiFi outside either reverts to this one (weak outside), or on request of a password, returns “wrong password”
It looks to me like the router outside is the same named WiFi, with a different password, but how can this be? I will ask Stavros, but he’s Greek, and not very tech savvy, neither am I...
