Hi all, a wee problem here, i could do it myself but as the car has AA garage cover it could be best to let them take it, they have done the alternator in the past and clutch thrust bearing but unsure on this one.
Also if the axle is damaged then its a bigger job which they will cover, i am concerend that the axle is damaged.
Problem is the rear drivers side axle bearing has gone, well its be thumping for ages and just found out what it is, even after it passed an MOT 4 weeks ago. god know show they did not notice it, but hey ho garages for you.
Thing is in the AA paper work it says it does cover suspension but not cover the wear and tear of the car, but it covered the clutch thrust bearing , so as this is a bearing i would think they would do it.
Then it says it does not cover suspension forks, i am unsure of what part this is on a car, a bike yes but not a car. And in an above section in the paper work it says it dose cover `diff and drive line` but not cover bike sprockets or chain. so they point out bikes in the description.
What is a suspension fork on a car?
Wolly
