Could be a small piece of metal being driven along by bubbles as it dissolves.

theres been no power to it since it was cloudy.

I Think i'm going to have to mixt it all up again anyway as the anode has fallen in and is under the sediment. Then i'll keep an eye on it.

It could be owt. You wouldn't believe the amount of things which seem to love living in the vats. About the only common thing I haven't had yet is frogs/toads. Mildly alkaline solution seems to bother some things not one jot.

I mixed it up last night and its settling again. I'll be there over the weekend and will keep an eye on it.

I did have a thought for the rusty sediment. THERMITE!!!! all i need is a source of aluminium powder.
