I recently had some flanges made up to suit a specific exhaust application.
They are 8mm thick, 304 Stainless, two bolt oval flanges, with a 2.5" (63.5mm) center hole.
For one of these, i have had a change of heart, and would like to make it 3" (76.1mm) diameter center.
What is the best way to have it widened? I have limited tools at home, and certainly nothing that could do this easily. I had them made by a company and then posted out to me, so i would rather not have to post one off again.
Would a plasma cutter make a neat enough job of it? I could get someone in my work to use that if it would work ok, and be neat enough.
If not, any suggestions as to where i could have it laser cut in Glasgow? Thanks!
