Wickes 16amp commado plugs

I was in my local Wickes today where I found in a clearance bin 16amp commando plugs and angled sockets made by MK. Plugs were £2.82 reduced from £7.05, the sockets were reduced by a similar amount.

I expect there will be selling them off in other branches.

Ahhhh just got a 16 amp socket that I bought on ebay last week. Paid over £8 inc post and wasn't impressed, it's marked CE, also marked 'Made in China'.

CPC sell 16A plugs, last ones I got were £2.38 + VAT and reasonable quality

Ahh well, the UK did manage to produce my IFL welder that plugs into it, or hang on, are there foreign parts inside it?

It depends which version of the IFL welder you have, some of the cheaper ones are just rebaged china made units anyway

That is a UK unit, it will have some foreign parts in it, as does everything but I believe that unit is designed and built in England.
