im looking for the Sealey clone of an EWM multi pulse digital portable mig mag tig machine ,,, but I doubt I will find one .
The best route is to have a play with the controls , find out what it is that you want to weld , say a bit of 3mm and have a play , when you get the results your expecting , or indeed like , make a note , and repeat the step , if you can weld it will soon fall into place , if your not sure in your abilities watch a few videos and play some , in general the amps / wires peed charts are only a basic set up guide , we all have our own preferences , settings vary even between identical machines , some of the machines I use vary depending on the time of day . One location we just stop welding at about half four in the winter as most folk put the lights on and start cooking dinner , the voltage drop is so bad the welder just goes crazy , so tack it up , and weld the day after ,,, you dont need a chart , just seat time.
