Why no 0.6mm wire machines?

I'm looking to buy and have found many machines that take only 0.8mm or thicker wire. Why no 0.6mm in so many cases?

All machines will take 0.6mm wire, just change the roller and contact tip...

What machines have you looked at ?

While they may come from the factory set up for .030 wire and up, usually changing the feed rollers, wire liner, and tip
is all you need to run .023

Or are you finding machines that specifically list that they cannot run .023 ?

I think the general consensus favours 0.8.

I don't go any lower the 0.8mm even for body work, just alter my technique
