Why is my 6x4 bandsaw cutting bent?

Ok so it makes straight cuts but the blade wanders away from the material being cut. So it starts off at the top, and as it gets towards the bottom it gets further out.

In the pics is a bit of angle. The bottom pic shows the angle which has been flipped over, with a square next to it. Excuse the rust

It's because you were holding your tongue at the wrong angle, and you didn't keep your fingers crossed

Could be you need to adjust the guides, usually on that type of saw they can be swivelled slightly.
The other thing that it could be is your blade is worn on one side so it cuts more on the other and that will cause it to cut out of square.

Hmm ok l give that a go. The blade is new.

In the 6x4 bandsaw thread on this forum there are links to a guide for setting up these saws. If you read that guide it will explain everything you need to know!

The guides need swivelling slightly. Adjust them, do a test cut then adjust again until it is right.
