if I see owt I say whats your best price they say what are you offering. I say I don't want to offend you. if it was 60 quid he wanted id just say yea its probably worth it but not to me
id give 40 for it 
he either sells it or says no thanks he cant get ratty as I already told him not to be offended. if somethings a good price i wont knock them down a penny as its an insult

I found someone's card once so I got in touch and he wanted me to bring it to his address the other side of the city. 
He seemed like a bit of a knob anyway so I blocked him and lost the card for someone else to find and deal with him.

I put a trailer on FB and got a message about midnight asking if they could come and collect tonight

been there done that years ago we had a quality wood high chair i brushed it over listed as good condition but needs a tidy up/proper clean and listed for a give away price in the hope it would go to some one that needs it the first lot came and he was oh thats nice she was i want somthing a bity tidyer so they left the 2nd lot came and looked was well pleased gave us the money and thanked us
i supose its what people standards are but the next one we had we gave away to someone that needed it
sorry but i dont like that i dont mine a low bid i can refuse it asking how low can you go before even looking at the item its a bit of a kick you know how much its worth if your looking for it you know how much its also worth to you even if your buying to sell on thats fine but how low can you go is asking how desprate are you for the money and to some people they might actualy need it

I knew someone back in he day did Radio Decoding, I used to pop in and make tea once in a while.
Couple of jack the lads walked in and handed a radio over - "Decode Dis Bro"?
"No problem" and off he popped into the back, to return five minutes later, handing over the radio. One of the chancers pulls out a tenner (HUGE sign: Radios decoded £15) "You'll do it for a tenner, right Bro"!
My pal takes the tenner "yeah, no probs", puts it in the till, closes the drawer and looks straight at the smartass: Which three numbers do you want?
The standoff lasted a good ten minutes as they were well outnumbered. Years later, still makes me laugh.

I've had something similar when selling things for say 200, would you take 100 so I reply, yeah plus another 100I’ve posted this before but I had a lovely pair of Mission speakers for sale for £100. Bloke messaged me saying he had to come all the way from South Wales so would I take £50.
