Who made who?

So, having had this mig for about 12 years, and this year put a new feed motor in it, I'm still no closer to knowing who made it... Any ideas?

It was originally painted red, aluminium transformer, metal plate rectifier. Original feed motor was Electrolux Sweden - and was crap, made from stamped and folded 3mm plate.

Bump... any ideas?

The wire feed motor takes a tap from the transformer terminals, so it is essence semi-synergic. Once you have the wire dialled in for a voltage, increasing the voltage steps increases the feed speed. It just needs a slight tweak every once in a while.

It doesn't like CuSi3 though, I think not enough inductance.

Yeah, I'll try and dig some up. It isn't massive, about the size of a portamig. I 'think' it is german...
