Which wire size ?

I’m trying to install an electric power steering kit onto my old VW Camper van (t25). I need to extend the wires shown but I’m not sure what to describe when ordering.
The plastic sleeve is approximately 1.2mm on the purple wire from the coupler and roughly 1.5mm on the red wire from the sensor.
Can anyone advise what to ask for and best place to purchase it from?

Just measured the strand dimensions which are roughly 0.7 and 1mm.
Sounds like a simple question but are these the dimensions I should be asking for when ordering cable?

Nope.
Automotive Joiners come in two sizes the red ones are smaller 1.5sqmm max wire. The blue ones will fit non Canbus wiring. Blue are 2.5sqmm max wire they require a proper crimper, pliers will not do.
There are probably better crimps out there.
Which ever you type you get do not allow the crimp to flap around in mid air
The cable should be mutli strand and use your school geometry skills for the area.
