Ayeup,You can weld kit kat wrappers?
I don’t want all singing and dancing... I originally just wanted a mig with a euro socket and originally looked at Clarke.... however they don’t have Euro and aren’t inverter. I will be welding from sheet steel to box section so 20a to about 160a from what I’ve read wold be perfect. I just happened to stumble across those ‘fit for all’ ones. The ROHR one has good reviews but seems to be a so called German designed China built one.
I’m not saying inverter is key... but makes more sense.
I don’t want to lay out ridiculous money and I’m not a fan of buying second hand electronics.
So with what they can do, they seem to fit my needs, despite being ‘cheap chintzy Chinese’
I’m still looking, but it is highly likely it will be one of the ones in my first post or something similar.
If I enjoy and end up welding a lot I will invest in a good bit of kit, but up until then, I think the risk is worth it and I’m sure I’d be able to find the right part or fix it myself.
I appreciate the info provided.
Its like this you ask people with real experience and then totally ignore it? No point in asking really is there now?
No axes to grind here just telling you how it is not how you want things to be
multi process machines just dont cost 250 new! Not talking machines for industry professionals just genral diy duty badic stuff. A reasonable stick inverter costs that retail
