Which welder?

Hi Guys,

Looking to get a welder for welding up an arch on my car that's rusted. It will be getting sprayed afterwards to tidyness isn't the biggest concern.

I'm looking at two welders at the moment

They'res a big enough price difference, If its safe to weld gasless on the car body panels this would be a better option?

you don't want gassless for car body work.

There are also cheaper 160 inverter welders out there too.

Try r-tech they do a 180 inverter got £440 ish and there is a 160 CWS for £300ish but i think they are out of stock. there have bee a number od threads recently about buying inverter welders.

Yup I went for the bigger 250 in the end as the budget was a bit bigger at the time. Phone r-tech up. And speak to Jason. They are help full.

The deals you can get on jasic presently are as good as it comes and they have a good reputation with the car guys on low settings which is were you will be
