I am looking at the the Clark 125EN and the Clarke 130EN, Is the difference in the welders worth the extra cost? Does anybody have any experience with these welders to give me a opinon?
I had a 130EN and it worked well. Was real reliable and had a relatively smooth wire feed.
The 130 should handle bicycle frames, I cut up several and used the parts in projects. Not sure about the 125EN, have not seen that one.
I ended up selling it as I got something bigger. It is great for light work, I do miss the portability.
If I started over, I would have gotten the 180EN as the 130 was not enough when I did trailer mods. If you are sure you won't be doing anything over 0.1" thick (1/8" with some prep), then go with the 130EN.
You sig shows a HF 131. What is wrong with that one? Should be near the same power but I hear the wire feed is not as good.
