Hi
I have followed this forum for a while but only just joined up.
I currently have a Cebora Pocket Turbo 130 which I use regularly for smaller gauge work but now have a growing requirement for being able to weld 6-10mm thick mild steel components for bale handlers etc. I only have single phase power so have been looking around for potential higher-end mig welders and the Oxford Migmaker 330-1 seems to be coming out on top as a reliable machine that will probably see me out. A lot of people on here also recommend the Portmig, but at the 300amp+ level they come in £200 or so more than the Oxford at around £930 inc VAT and delivery.
I prefer to buy British and I don't need a lot of fancy features so are there any other recommendations or suggestions.
Thanks everyone
