Which TV channel for cycling?

I like watching the road cycling (mainly women's cos its a bit more unpredictable) but we only have 'normal' telly channels so have to watch it on You tube a few weeks later when it comes out.
The Ronde van vlaanderen was on today and i would have liked to watch it live (or soon after)

Do I need to get sky sports?

I watch it on either ITV4 or Eurosports (you can get a month subscription for about £7)

Unfortunately women's road cycling is in a pretty poor state of health. A lot of the problem is down to sponsorship - it costs a lot of money to sponsor and run a team so the sponsor want the most back out of it. So generally speaking the men's races will give the best return.

There is a new freesport channel which has some cycling on, I think they had the tour down under? Pretty bad coverage to be honest.

Yeah definitely Eurosport is the king, virtually everyday there is road cycling in season.

Biggest surprise this year is Valverde is back and winning after what was thought to probably be a career ending crash. Not bad for a 37 years old.

Biggest thing to remember there is life outside the Tour De France. In my view out of the grand tours the French one is the worst/most boring.
