The other aspect to this is that you guys have used the kit and know the difference between top end kit and cooking kit like most of use, I learnt MMA on Oxford oil cooled kit, college workshop had orrible air cooled units, just no contest.
Many years later when welders became available to the hobby/home user, I bought a Clarke buzzbox which I thought was horrible, but it actually did the job, then I got the offer of a used Migatronic inverter,once I tried it, I bought it.
When I came to France, I renovated my house, this led me to renovating 3 others, I bought Festool kit-hideously expensive, but a joy to use, and made some jobs a doddle.
When I sold the festool kit off, it flew out the door at my asking price once the buyers had seen the condition it was in.
So I think if you are familiar with the kit and its capabilities-fair enough, but from a novice point of view for home and occasional use, go mid range new from a reputable source.
Mind you, we are all waffling on, we know the OP is new to the TIG process, but he might be a demon stick/MIG/gas welder
