and wearing ordinary glasses don help. it seems they direct the sparks in to your eyes when the air blown from the cooling fan helps them inDon't use safety glasses, use goggles. Safety glasses can still let sparks through. They bounce off your cheeks. Ask me how I know. A £5 pair of goggles will fit over your glasses and won't fog up either.
