I have a bit of a mixed bag too. Ratchets, sockets, spanners all snap on mind and all bought individually in my apprentice days . I bought some new screwdrivers recently as they were on special but other than that I don't tend to buy many tools now.I am partial to Snap-On, although my toolbox is a mix of Wera, Bahco, Irwin, Draper Expert, Beta and Gedore. I must admit I now buy whatever I think represents good value. I struggle to justify Snap-On much these days.
I'm intrigued mate. Have you got a pic of it.i have a Stahlwille, And Halfords Pro, But mainly use my Favourite "Toothless" rachet made by a firm called Quest, Absolutely brilliant, moves in the smallest increments and no slippage at all, Cant remember where i got it from and can find nothing on the net
there not the best. there one of the best that's about itAs others have said, snap on are probably the best but for the money i dont think you can beat Bacho. I also like teng.
It's down to opinionthere not the best. there one of the best that's about it
Britool used to do a similar one, we had one at work that was probably as old as I was and still lovely to use!Pic's as requested, No direction change lever, Square drive has to be pushed through to the other side of the head, They work on the principle of hardened rollers and slow tapers inside the head, Same sort of thing as the old Saab two stokes had over-run free wheel,
