Seasons best to all.
I've read lots and loads on the cheap plasma cutters and it seems to me the consensus is
1. If your going down the cheapo take away route to buy from either Felzen (2 year guarantee, nearly always gets the prob sorted but bedside manner/comms can be crap, just wait for it to happen their way) or buy from Shop River (get what you see, will help with parts later and decent service). Would you guys generally agree with that?
2.Felzen best guarantee but Germany so return to base Shop River 12 months but generally will send parts out even after warranty so easier and low charges for spare/repair parts. Is that about right?
3. Felzen seem to only offer 40amp machine but general comments are its a bit better than the cut 40 machine from Shop River (even though both chinese). you owners agree generally?
5. Therefore has to be Shop river if you want a 50 amp machine? He offers both a red and a blue cased cut 50 - seems red is ever so slightly stronger (6.3amp input up to 15mm steel .v. 5.5amp 14mm steel.....and I know to take upper steel cutting claims with a pinch of salt). comments?
6. Does the extra 10 amps on a 50 amp machine make much of a difference? what do owners think?
7. Anyone know of any other goodmachines or vendors?
Would really appreciate comments on the above. Like most people its only wanted for occasional use so cannot justify decent machine just yet.
