Which perspex type material to bodge a car window?

weld some sheet steel over it say its for securits do the other side and sell that for big £££££££££££3 and also do the rear and sell that for £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££3

Is cutting an existing glass possible? It sounds like it is, but I thought toughened was impossible? Maybe water jet?
If it helps, perspex softens at 120°C, enough to be formed over a mould. I did a big marble staircase with perspex spiral panels. 10mm thick.

Yes, it's possible, I think that the guy in the States used a certain amount of heat to aid in cutting it.

VGC glass said they can cut glass to whatever shape you need and can copy the radius using existing glass
the cutting is done before tempering
this is something i was considering when sourcing a new drivers window for my datsun, due to being a 2+2 version and there only 12 registered in the uk parts are scarce but eventually someone in west sussex came forward with drivers and passenger windows for my car even in the correct tint.
did cost me £100 and the trip down there though
