Which Paton... Or not?

Mine turned up to day, It seems a well made thing, hard to believe theres 250 amps in that, I haven't run it yet,
The torch depressed me a bit haha ok its binsel but it has one of the dog sheet shroud setups ,i'll probably hang it up as a spare and buy a mans torch.

my torch didn't come with that type of shroud

I'm actually still using the first one that came with it but it's a bit beaten to death now

Mine came with a decent torch although it is the 160 amp version

I prefer the thicker heavy duty shrouds...they seem to last a lot longer and are easier to clean.

Yeah I was just surprised to see that set up on a binzel torch. Maybe i'm just an old fart that don't like change.

just replace the swan neck?
they just thread on under the plastic covers
probably a lot cheaper than a whole torch unless you want a longer lead anyway

i haven't a clue. i've just gotta put a blue plug on and let rip, I was only interest in the straight mig side of it.

Its semi automatic... altbough I haven't found the menu on mine yet
Welds beautifully for me which is a miracle
