I've been watching various Quickjack videos on Youtube, and the way that everything just works and is so well designed probably accounts for a fair bit of the price. I'm not sure I'd have the ability to make up all the hydraulic connectors even if I could trust my welding for the steel bits.I have option 2, Quickjacks. Yes they are expensive but they suit my needs best. My garage would be similar to the OP in terms of size. They store away against the wall and have proved invaluable for brake work on my Focus and Wish Bones on the SMax. Plus they can be fired into a trailer and brought anywhere they might be needed. I grew they are overpriced for what material is actually in them.
