I'm about to paint a tubular chassis with a decent top coat as the Jotun 87 I had put on it seems to mark really easily.
Rather than paying a guy to spray this I've decided to have a go myself, but as it's a tubular chassis I know it's tricky to keep as much paint on the chassis rather than just going as over spray.
I've got a few old Devilbiss guns, the best one being a JGV-563 with a 43 air cap. I know these are conventional guns rather than HVLP. I don't have a lack of air as I've got a big compressor with a 150L tank.
Should I just get on with it with the guns I've got or is it worth getting an HVLP gun to reduce wastage?
Thanks
