Which Chop saw

Hi all

I have a job coming up where i will need to cut 40x40 box, 25mm tube, 40x40 angle and some other smaller bits. I was looking at getting a chop saw as i will also require some angles to be cut.

Can anyone recommend a half decent one that is usable and ok to my wallet (if thats possible)

I just got a ryobi abrasive chop saw. mines 355mm and will cut anything, quite pleased with it for £105 delivered!

Hi I just purchased yesterday a lovely little bit ov kit a rage evolution 2 chopsaw , looks like a nice little bit ov kit

had it from screwfix with my neighbours %20 discount

evolution rage (green one 355mm tungsten blade) £90 at Aldi. Was a great buy. Have since sharpened the blade and as good as new.

I had a look at those, but the price of the blades put me right off!! Mine is cheap and does the job just as well

the blade replacement for mine is around 40 or 50 quid but I just dropped the old one in with my timber blades for a sharpen. Cost me £7 I think.

I know the blades are expensive but its like everything else out there .
quality costs money , but you can get them cheap from ebay , half the price of screw fix actually.
