I've just used Noxudol 700 on my integrale - it's a bit early to see if it works though. It was a bit difficult to get hold off direct - took a few goes at phoning but very nice to deal with when I did.
12 yrs ago I used dinitrol through one of those pressure pots when I bought the car. On it's 25th birthday rebuild, I found intact paint on the outside of some panels, intact dinitrol on the inside . . . and not much inbetween. I think I can live with that - it was never garaged, used everyday, wind, rain, snow, salt, washed when it rained, and maybe not even then.
I think I have a gallon tin of Waxoyl somewhere which is min half full, it must be 45 years old.......![]()
Pretty much. I know, I know, it's a Lancia, but it is 25 yrs old, used everyday, and I don't see many Escorts, 3-series etc still around, so I'm not too surprised. It could of course have been rusting nicely inside when I carefully shielded the rust when I sprayed Dinotrol over it - if it's there, it will carry on.Am i reading that wrong? did the metal still rust away?
It must be Finnegans then........remember?
