Which brand to choose?? pin punch set

Hi all, i have some cheap punches bough of ebay i think there silverline? anyway i was using them today removing old rivets on my trailer floor and i bent the punch there the pressed in type anyway im looking at upgrading to a better brand and narrowed it down to these;

6pc - roughneck £12.75
6pc - teng tools £24.95
9pc - eclipse professional tool (they say made in Sheffield?) £19.65
6pc - kennedy £12.96
6pc - gedore £21.02
8pc - starret £33.49

Any other brands im missing im leaning to the eclipse whats your opinions on these brands and what would you pick?

I got the Kennedy sets from zoro, short and long- with the 20% discount code. Worked out pretty cheap, certainly less then I’d have paid for one set of facom/starrett, or probably less than an individual punch from snap on
They seem good enough, certainly no complaints from me.

I would also rate that facom set.
Mine have taken some heavy use and held up fine.

I'd buy Starrett, Gedore or Facom (facom being my personal favourite)
Eclipse used to be great, but the set I got 10 years ago was awful, the pins bent and snapped like twigs.

The Facom punches are nice but they are more expensive than the others. Gedore should be fine. For similar money check out Unior and Rennsteig (the latter is a relatively little known brand but they make good stuff).

Pin punches are one of those tools that I suspect are often rebranded. Someone like Unior may well OM for several other brands (I could be wrong though).

Probably unsuitable due to the price but if money isn’t a deciding factor the only gear I can highly recommend is pb Swiss tools punches and chisels. Simply some of the most durable tools I’ve ever used. I’ve got a long thin chisel which was used to knock a good quality locking wheel off. The nut of course was chewed up but the chisel still retained its point which I was astounded by! Punches equally good, you don’t get the mushrooming on the punch face like the cheaper stuff

For £20 I sincerely doubt they still make em here. I'd buy em if they were any good.

ive yet to find a decent set of punches that dont bend 5th or 6th use
set i have at the moment is a stanley set that works pretty well but the 2mm has bent allready

In fairness how can something 2mm not bend or snap?

I have some snap on ones and kept bending the smaller ones, to be fair to the snap on guy he did keep replacing them but suggested I should be using tapered punches to start things moving.
