hi im new to the fourm, i have been welding stick and mig for few year and done a little stainless.
i want to buy a welder for my travels.i am travelling in a camper for a year or 2. i often get asked to weld things and would love a go to welder for most jobs. i was thinking inverter welder because of compact nature. i also wanted to be able to weld tig and aluminum so ac. would be needed.
Most of the time i will be doing little arc jobs.so i don't know if i should get a work horse dc inverter and the ac inverter for tic welding aluminium.i really don't do aluminium welding ever but would like to learn over the next year.
i think a 200 or 180 amp for stick welding would be needed would not be welding anything heavy with the tig.i will be using it with a generator a lot..would love a Miller dynasty 200 DX AC\DC but expensive $$$
any suggestions would be great..i could spend a bit more for right welder...
