Hi everyone.
I'm not that electrically minded. But I would like to find some small connectors for three wire sensors and a cheap 12v transformer. I have a couple of projects which I want to easily disconnect some sensors for ease of moving pieces.
One project is for controlling humidity in a fridge for curing meats (salamis etc) so it needs to fit between the body of the fridge and door. I also have a pt100 temperature sensor that would be easier to install in my home brewery if it had a connector.
I've tried hacking an old computer 12v transformer to run a computer fan. Unfortunately this hadn't worked due to a faulty capacitor. Are there cheap transformers for powering a computer fan that cost about £5?
The humidity connector/pt100 each have three wires. Each wire is under 0.5mm thick. Would ear phone jacks be suitable are there box connectors like what are used on thermocouples?
