Where to learn??

I wonder if anyone can advise me on where to gain access to a welding course?? I live in south manchester, i am looking to weld on my 73 campervan, is there anyone out there who could offer any advice, Thanks in advance....steve..

Where to learn

Hi Steve. I did a 12 week intoductory course at openshawe college three hours a week. Apply through Manchester College website.Sometimes there is a waiting list. I think the next nearest is Bolton.

A huge thanks to your replys, i think the openshaw course is offering what i need, unless there are any welders offering to teach me the basics. And how much would i be looking at protective gear, is there any where on the site that sells seconds, cheers and once again many thanks......steve..
