Hi.
I am doing model engineering, so what I am making involves no real heat or great pressures
but looking for strong solder to weld drill bits and reamers on to extention rods and similar
jobs.
I have been looking at solders that will do the job, I have been asking around.
Brownells #44 is what I need apparently. Thats in America needs to be posted and
is over £200 a pound.
Harris industries does something similar. Thats in America wants posting here and is
cheaper, say £140 for a pound.
Is soft solder just that expensive?
Is there a supplier here?
Thanks for replies.
