Where to buy M9 x 1.25 nuts

Hello, where can I buy M9 x 1.25 nuts? About 20 or so. And to make life more interesting, 14mm across the flats.
They are, of course, for a 1972 Citroen DS.
Citroen Classics sell them but I'm tight!

XR USELESS now unfortunately

They keep minimal odd sizes. mostly serve construction industry now. oh and you'll wait 25 minutes at least if not longer

Citroen liked to place bolts very close to another part, any bigger than 14mm across the flats and the nuts can't be tightened.

If you can find a standard size 9 x 1.25mm nut, file it or get someone to mill it down to 14mm A/F's.

Hello, I have a lathe and milling machine. I can drill and tap 14mm hex bar.
If a bolt is 8.8, does that also apply to the nut? If it does, is mild steel suitable or do I need a particular type of steel?

I've tried all the suppliers above, some don't stock, other stock only half nuts.
One company said they couldn't help as their minimum charge was £20. And? What difference does that make. They never did say if they stock them. Never turn down money!

A grade 8.8 bolt should really be matched with a grade 8 nut. This probably means something a bit better than 'ordinary' mild steel. (Maybe something like EN8 ??)

Have you tried GWR in Oswestry for the nuts? They don't list them in the on-line shop, but may well have some, and can make them if not.

Our local nutnboltery can get anything oddball made, it’s always down to cost. The Citroen ones start to look reasonable when you only need twenty or so. I was thinking about the making of them in a lathe, aside of the tapping you would need a parting off tool with a rad each side at the base to knock off the hex just before it breaks through if you want to avoid that second op.
