Where to buy a small drill chuck (for flexi drive on a die grinder) ?

Hi. any suggestions where I can buy a new 10mm drill chuck ?
It's on a flexi-drive extension that was bought with a die grinder (using 10mm bits), it did the job I bought it for but the chuck died soon after ...

The original chuck is keyed and worked well but I'm tempted to try keyless - is this a silly idea on a high speed die grinder?
The dead chuck is marked 1.5-10mm, 3/8 x 24 UNF. Any suggestions where I can buy a replacement (I can't see this getting a lot of use but something mid-range not cheap junk would be good.
It's only ever been used with 10mm burrs but having the option for small drill bits etc is handy so I'd like something similar to the old one, 2mm-10mm ish..
There were a couple of places having sales but I can't find the details now, anyone help?

No specific budget, happy to go a level above the plastic £5 chucks but it's difficult to justify near £50 ( £30 + vat + p&p) for something that might get used once a year... decisions

I would be extremely cautious of running any bog standard chuck at die grinder speeds - its the main reason I'm yet to buy a flexi drive.

I'd suggest an ER16/20/25 collect chuck would be a good idea but it may involve some lathe work - unsure if anyone makes a threaded ER chuck and the chinese ones are usually a good grade of hard steel, that I wouldnt want to tap!

I had a chuck with a 3/8” UNF thread from an old fashioned hand drill , not sure if that type would be suitable?

This is a good 3/8" UNF chuck but as above, unsure what its maximum speed would be. I expect many chucks could have a rapid dissasembly if used above 8-10k rpm.

Looking around, 3/8" UNF seems to be a common fit so there's plenty of choice.
Something fairly compact would be best, the original fitted into some tight spaces, anything too chunky would be a problem.

Good point about the high RPMs on the die grinder, not something I'd considered until it got mentioned...

I'm surprised at the range of prices. Under a fiver is either amazing value or too good to be genuine (or maybe it's a fair price for a lump of sub-standard plastic), getting up to £50 is pushing the limits on the "fun money" budget.

If you can sacrifice capacity for compactness, a 1/4" capacity one would be available on the same screw mount.

Going for a smaller capacity would have worked if I'd realised that was an option before I bought the kit and a selection of 10mm burrs last year...
Now need 10mm minimum ( no need for anything bigger than that)
