Where do machine tools go to die?

I'm looking to get a few 'bits' off machines such as drill presses and mills (decent equipment) to make my own drill/mill with a few 'added features'.

Where am I likely to come across good used parts?

billaricay, barleylands to be exact, willson machine tools he calls himself, The unit is opesite the council works on one of philpots farms (another equaly unpleasent misrable sod).

Thanks for that, might wander along and have a peek. It's not too far from where I work.
So he belongs to the animal genus of Gittus Misserabilus. Does he have dogs loose a well?
