where can i get cheep arc rods

hi i am fed up of beening riped off on online stores but there aint any welding shops any where in colwyn bay N wales at the moment i am paying £23 for a 5KG pack of miled steel 2.50mm rods and i have spoke to people and thay say that u can buy them in shops for about £10

CAN ANY BODY HALP ME

Hi you could try Weldequip who is on this forum
BOC have some decent rods
would not waste my time useing cheap rods in most cases cheap rods are imported rubbish i use ESAB Mildtrodes

ok just asking trying to find him he has a acccount on hear and i just bought a new mask from him and its ace do know any links where i can get arc rods for about £25

cheap welding rods are cheap welding rods simple as that. esab mildtrodes are good rods but are likely to cost 25 quid + vat a box for a 5kg box, one of the problems with net sales is the weight of rods and hence the cost of carrage bumps up the price

I have picked up a few boxes from ebay. Price was low enough that shipping was not a problem. I see a lot of new-old-stock there go cheap.
