). I too had a Series one 80” a few years later, trailered it home but when I jacked it up the front axle and springs stayed on the ground, the chassis was a bit rotten. Found a replacement down in Romsey so gave it a mechanical refresh but left the body in it’s ex-farm state, was my only transport for a few years.I loved the MK1 Astras, at last a fast little car that could go around corners just as fast.My first car was Mk1 Astra, bought it from the chemistry teacher at school
