What car is it ? If it's only two studs push them out they are probably on a spline, cheaper than thread restoring and peace of mind
Oh no it gets worse
Please don't tell me it's 30mm spacer
Half the fun is rebuilding but we are talking taking things to the extreme on mine and not worrying about cost but I dare say you don't want to be shelling out money if you don't want or need to.
Getting back to your spacers and studs. I would be concerned pushing out steel from ally and then pushing or drawing steel back into ally. I don't know how the ally would stand up to it. These ally spacers are they made from aircraft grade ally or are they made out of a kipper box from yak a saki land ?
they are rubbish i took a closer look at the threads compared the the standard mitsi nuts and the threads are much better cut and deeper on the oem ones
Im sure you could devise a way to turn a die. you are only restoring a thread not creating one.
Other option may be a thread file depending on access. I have in the past used a diamond needle file to clean up a thread.
Could also slit up the side of a good nut to create your own die, bit gash but sometimes needs must.
To be fair that kit would probably work fine for a one off.
