Wheel Spacers

I can't see that being a problem at 12mm considering the size of the wheels/tyres/hubs etc. - but then fizzy changed it to 28 - 30mm !!

I know - didn't measure it right before - included the tyre

Having said that plenty of cars and Landies are fitted with 30mm spacers without problem. Ok they don't have 3500kg on 1 axle but they dont use 22mm x 6 wheel studs either.

I suppose I could use 2x 15mm spacers - same difference and easier to laser cut I assume?

So will a spacer, it's in exactly the same place and held fast in position??

some how in my mind I’d imagined a full disc welded to it

I still wouldn’t be too worried, a quick rough calculator suggests an m20 fastener torqued to 200nm will give a clamping force of 5t. Six of those on each hub means the wheel is unlikely to move even with you trailer fully loaded and a spacer in between...

7 stud is also used on Agri kit sometimes
Have you tried looking in that direction as it may be a cheaper route

Is just cut that out of 30mm plate. Mark out, rotabroach your holes, dot the centre, burn it out oversize with oxyacetylene, true it Up in the lathe.
