ok what are yourTechniques for undoing a wheel on a trailer?
the tyre is flat and will not pump up,and when i try to undo the nuts the wheel turns. the brakes do not work so i can not apply these

Can you stick a bit of bar between two of the other wheel nuts, and rest against the floor...?

If not an old socket bar, and give it a few sharp clouts....

Socket and breaker bar. Hit with big mallet. Use the inertia of the wheel. Works best if the bar crosses the spindle rather than pointing outside the wheel.

Get 2 breaker bars & sockets, 1 on 1 nut and the end of the bar resting on the ground, use the other to loosen another nut.

The first one stops the wheel skidding, the 2nd undoes the nut - you may even undo 2 nuts at the same time.

Get plenty of weight in the trailer to stop it lifting.

It may be interesting when you reach the situation with one tight nut and all the others removed!

Better still a windy gun might work.

Length of 4x2 wedged under the with somebody pulling up on it or a log bashed under it as a lever while you use your longest socket wrench (right term fails to register) on the wheel nut. This one of the few occasions where using a hammer can be productive, a sharp tap, maybe even a serious tap, sharp crack even but never belt it. Unless it's stuck.

what size trailer ...is it left hand side or right side ..does this one have lh & rh threads sides to the trailer ? ( some are made as such )

Easy to jack up the trailer slip on a decent socket ,12 inch extension and 18 inch swingler .. rotate wheel in direction assumed to tighten nut at about 15 rpm or so , build up some momentum , then at a suitable point where / when the swingle crosses the axis grab hold of it hard press/pull to undo whilst supporting the extension , the force is often enough to crack the nut .
Sounds difficult and complex but is really Meercat .

If this fails lower trailer off jack fully , use small axle stand to support the extension & socket at right angles to the stud add a 2 foot power tube on the swingler ot a quality T bar , put it under pressure enough so that with a tiny bit more effort the wheel will slip , then give it a sharp clout with a 2 pound hammer whilst under the pressure , the shock under load should crack the hold . Do this on all the remaining nuts . Only remove the nuts when all have been freed off.

What size of trailer? Sometimes farm trailers have old lorry axles on them and the wheel nuts/studs are left hand thread on one side and right hand on the other. Make sure you're not trying to loosen the wrong way, lol.

If you havent done it by now mate, go with small axle stand under extension and breaker bar - just enough to stop wheel turning. Two bars and two sockets was a good idea but what to do with the last tight one?! On a van its also possible with the right size n shape bar to undo by driving the bar against the floor in the direction to undo the nut, but the trailer would probably need to be heavy/well loaded for that to work and if you dont get it right first time you'll damage the bar or round the nut

i should have mentioned the sizeof the trailer,
its a 6x 14 about the size of a car transporter trailer. with14 inch wheels

I'm assuming you've already jacked the trailer up, so why don't you just loosen the nuts off before jacking up the trailer, that way the wheel is on the ground and shouldn't move under the weight of the trailer.

Once the nuts are loose jack up the trailer and remove the nuts and wheel.

If it's a twin axle (4 wheels) then let some air out of the tyre next to it so the wheel rests on the ground and do as above. You're just using the weight of the trailer to stop the wheel moving.
