I have the very same murex set and a bad back from carrying it up and down tunnels while bent double. Mine is well dented though.

To be fair until they end it does not mean a lot. If I wanted the murex I would not have shown my hand bidding.

I might have dropped a bid on the cheap one in the hope it might put others off.....

Starting bid of £10 means nothing, it could start at 99p, there might be a reserve on it of 100 ?

I would have kept stum about it and kept my eye on it personally.

Exhibit a is more likely to be usable from a 13amp plug exhibit b not so much which puts a lot of buyers off. The old murexs are good but very hungry on the mains. A 2.5 will be the limit Id guess unless you start with a heavier supply.
