I just got halfway through a car panel job and it's standing outside now where the weather can get at it. The bright metal needs some protection, I guess, until I can get back to it and finish it off.
I read something somewhere about 'weld through paint'. What's that? Anyone know?
And what other might I use to protect the metal while it's waiting?
I'm talking here about a MIG job - so that's fussier than stick, it has to be pretty good if MIG isn't going to be worried about the paint, I think (not that I'm any expert, not even a novice, really).
