To save the wise cracks I can see it’s a kemppi remote.
I can see it’s got a moving coil meter for current and I can see it’s got MMA as one of the switch settings.
What I don’t get is the 12/24v and 12/24v start settings.
I can’t imagine it’s particularly nice striking an electrode at 12v so it must have a particular reason for those settings.
What machine does it plug into (10 pin amphenol). And what is it for. Any thoughts cos google draws a blank.

As a guess I would say it's for charging/starting 12v or 24v vehicles

That will explain the the scales on the meter

So why the MMA feature and current adjustment pot. Seems strange to put that on the same remote as a battery charger. Not convinced

No you wouldn't charge at that level that would be the boost start current, the charging current would be only about 20 to 30 amps. I've not seen one that looks like that but I know kemppi and gys both make chargers. We have a few gys chargers in work, they're used for voltage stabilization for when we do software updates and stuff like that on cars

Is it possible that its off a welder generator that also has a battery charging/jumpstart function and this is for switching between that function and the weld function? I'm just guessing, I have no experience with welder generators

Ummmmmmmm what about electro cleaning of stainless steel. Fronius made a remote for that with low switchable voltages. Perhaps it’s Kempis version.
