I suppose really really stretching it, you would get a tiny bit of magnetism from a statically charged pin. However, for a magnetic field to form it needs current flow.

Electricity and magnetism are the same thing. You can't have one without the other, same as space and time (or energy and matter come to think of it)...

We categorise subjectively different behaviours as if they are phenomena derived from separate physical "laws". That is not always the case. Time is not an independent property of nature, it does not exist without physical space. Matter is a particular expression of energy and you can't have one without the other. Same goes for electricity and magnetism, a moving charge will always create a magnetic field.

Car Facebook groups are the worst, in the days where people joined a forum when they got a car or had a problem people giving incorrect advise would be called out for all to see. Now with Facebook groups people give total nonsense responses but the thread is gone from view within 24hrs. That said most of the people asking questions are too lazy to open their glove box and read the manual or do a search.
