a few hours to kill earlier today..looked at an indoor market..usual tat and garbage..then saw a wera screwdriver and some bosch drills..asking price £35 too dear i thought..then driving home i popped into lidls, they had reduced a tube light i had seen previously down to£9..i only had a fiver..went to cash machine.bought the light..changed my mind about the drills/wera..went back to market as they were shutting stall..offered £25 for tools..they accepted..action packed couple of hours..!really pleased with light wish they had more....

I quite enjoy wandering around markets/boot sales for that very reason.

never know what you may come across. I have loads from them for bargain prices, including a Makita sds drill and 12 bits for a tenner, a terabyte hard drive for a fiver cos the guy didn't know what it was, and wood turning lathe for 12 quid. looked on ebay and they were going for 70 quid second hand
