what year is my elliott progress no1 bench drill ?

High folks,
Does anyone on here know how to tell the year of Elliott progress bench drills ?
My drive says on the plate NEW PROGRESS No1 DRILL.

NUMBERS ON PLATE 25551 / 2264.
IN TOP RIGHT CORNER OF PLATE IT READS ref 26.

This drill has 240v hoover motor from new.

only just got it today so any info on these would be good.

Hi Phil
'Gate Machinery' were very helpful when I emailed them, they had supplied my 2G originally and although could not be specific did give a guide date. They also had replacement coil springs, not cheap, but they are the correct size.
My 2G has the same motor, the capacitor lead was hard and the insulation flaking off so changed that, blew out the dust and crud from the casing and its been fine since.
