What wiring harness connectors?

Currently trying to fix the decades of abuse by previous owners on the Landy wiring harness. Fixed most of the gremlins but now need to make up a rear harness and connect into the main loom. I have some cheap econoseal knock offs but frankly they’re crap. Originals were Lucas moulded bullet connectors and I’m leaning towards the bullet and multiple isolated joiners? Any suggestions?

What are they like long term? I tend to use genuine superseal but they always go green in the end. After not long too sometimes

Well we have them on plant the exposed ones seem to last really well, found the weatherpack are no where near as good.

I was looking at those the other day, I have a couple of bike looms coming up and wanted decent quality without going OTT. Good to have a recommend.

Decent quality wire seems a little trickier to pin down.

Just use durite for wire

Theres a chap on a number of the land forums using the name PaulMc. He stocks or can get most landy stuff. I think he has an ebay shop too but i (rather unusefully) cant remember his user name!

Super Siah are okay if you use grease in the connections before you plug them in

Given the age of some of the land rovers I have worked on I reckon the standard lucas connectors are ok and I just use the "crimp or solder type bullet" from this page

yep mine still look new inside after 8 years of being covered in road grime and muck. and they were knock offs lol.
