It's a mitre cutter saw.. would of come with a base. Was in the garage when we moved in,seems to have quite a fine tooth pitch like a hacksaw.

Thanks.
Looks a handy tool if it was complete.
Blade is bent too.
Off to the scrap pile.
I can send you a complete one if you want, mine has not been used since I got the mitre saw.Thanks.

It was worth a punt, one of those things that is too good to just chuck out but pretty much worthless.Thank you for the kind offer but I would likely never use it either since I've got a chop saw too. (And a mitre block for doing coving!)
Donate it to your local men in sheds so TYA doesn't kill me.

If your local one is like the ones I am involved in. We have a lot of semi dead tools.
We collect them and rob bits of dead tools to bring the good ones back to life.
I've got one, they are really designed for wood but I used to use mine on aluminium angle and box section, makes very accurate mitres when set up properly.
Tbh I'm debating buying a new one. They were the sort of Flintstones version of todays Compound Mitre Saw (electric)
and the updated version of the old mitre box
cant you get a battery oneTbh I'm debating buying a new one.
Have plenty of mitre saws.
Dragging a compound mitre saw into a customer's bedroom to cut a couple of mitres on a bedroom wardrobe cornice is a pita.
It's only mdf so be a doddle with one.
